We welcome motivated scientists at all career stages to join the Klein Lab at Harvard Medical School.

Our team is interdisciplinary, combining biology, genomic technologies, microfluidics, and theory from physics and areas of applied math/CS to study how cells make fate decisions during development.

Opportunities

Graduate Students

We accept PhD students from all Harvard PhD Programs, including but not limited to the Systems, Synthetic and Quantitative Biology (SSQB) program, Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) program, Molecules, Cells and Organisms (MCO) program, Biophysics program, and related graduate programs. Students interested in rotations are encouraged to contact us.

Postdoctoral Researchers

We seek creative and independent postdocs with expertise in experimental biology, computational biology, or physics. Openings depend on ongoing projects and funding; please send a CV and statement of interests to Prof. Allon Klein.

Research Technicians / Staff Scientists

Occasionally we hire research staff to support experimental projects. Open positions will be listed on the HMS or Harvard employment websites.

Undergraduate / Internship Opportunities

We host undergraduate researchers and summer interns through Harvard College programs, visiting student fellowships, and other internship initiatives. If applying directly to the lab, you are encouraged to apply as part of obtaining research credits towards your degree.
